Hello, my name is Jonathan, and I am an author who hates writing. Yes, you read that correctly. So, why do I write? Simply because I love stories way more than I hate writing.
Stories have always gripped me. The way the characters are formed, the way the story unravels, and the way a world unfolds in front of your eyes is incredible. I love how they allow the imagination to go places our bodies never can. I’ve always read imaginative stories, and most of what I read falls into the science fiction and fantasy categories. I hope my stories will follow in this great tradition of imagination. As with all authors, I pull from my experiences and the stories that I have encountered.
I have been to several countries, and I am impressed with the wide variety of human experience and culture in the world. These experiences find their way into my writing, enhancing and enriching the characters and worlds I create.
I also have a great love for nature. It is fun to imagine what creatures and what ecosystems might exist in other places, other times, or other worlds. I don’t know if I can create a world as beautiful as ours, but I can take the beauty that I find here and express it in different forms through a variety of settings.
In my opinion, every good story should have a good ending. Even if there is sorrow, there is light in the middle of sorrow, and if we look for it, we will find something worthwhile in the end. Even when things turn bitter, my characters will grow and rise to meet the difficulty and bring out the possibilities in the situation.
These are a few of the things that I will bring to the table. I’m not sure if I incorporate them into my stories, or if they incorporate themselves. I trust that you will enjoy my stories, and I look forward to speaking to you again through the pages of a book.
